Mr. Michas is a veteran floor trader and market analyst who worked his way up through the ranks, beginning as a runner in 1971. In 1978 he became an exchange member of the CME and floor manager for Jack Carl and Associates, now the Man Futures division of MF Global. Harry traded in the gold, treasury bill and currency pits until 1982 when he began trading the newly-introduced S&P 500 futures contract. Since then Harry has made his career in stock index futures, most notably the S&P 500s, where he has become a fixture in the now legendary trading pit.
